hey I am reading Black Beauty too!!! lol I have never read it and we bought like 6 classics at Target. They were a buck each, so how could we pass them up?

Oh classics are the best. I am reading Little Women myself because it is my all time favorite.

OMG you should. It's so good! I got Josephine's name from that book and Natalia's first middle name (Beth) is partially from one of her godmothers and partially from the book. I've read it easily 100 times. I also love Pollyanna, Secret Garden, and Charlotte's Web and all the Little House on the Prarie books. I have them from my childhood and pulled them out for the kids.

My 14 year old is ripping through the Xanth series by Piers Anthony. My 11 year old is reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini and my 8 year old is reading the American Girl novels.  | ||

We're a big reading family - I read a lot as a girl and set it up for my kids that way too. I just can't imagine not having stories in my life. | ||
