He isn't having a party (just going out to supper with some friends), so I definitely need to get him something, but I can't think of anything!
Ryan really doesn't need anything and Adam is no help, he can't think of anything either.
Do any of you guys have any ideas for gifts? It's been a long time since I was 17, maybe some of you have an idea of what he might like? |

Nikita - We have Guitar Hero, but Rock Band sounds fun! Would if be worth getting Rock Band even though we have Guitar Hero?
Thanks! |

Definitely. We have both in our house. Now the guitars for Rock Band are the same as for GH, but the drums are so much fun to play. Plus there's the singing too. It gives that extra that always seemed missing from GH. |

I'm a fan of useful gifts
I don't play video games, but Rock Band is pretty cool. Even Anya can play. (The singing part) |

Haha! I don't think so, I don't want him to move out for a very long time!
So, I went out and bought Rock Band this morning and it looks like way more fun that Guitar Hero. It's cool that four people can play at the same time, so I might actually get a turn!
Musicdad - He does have a guitar, two actually (acoustic and classical), but he really doesn't play much anymore. He took lessons until he was 13 or 14 and has gradually lost interest. He still plays piano and drums though.
Ok, he's getting Rockband, boxers, a hoodie and dinner for 6 at Nobu. It should be a good birthday!
Thanks everyone for your help! |
