I totally agree with you Teresa, but the bond with my own kids is just a tad bit more special. I also have to say that even though I have always liked kids, once I became a mother myself, I love and appreciate them all the more.
Yeah, that's true....I don't guess I ever really stopped to think about it, but I've been the same way.

Ok, at the risk of sounding like a total wierdo and hateful person, I can't stand when other people's kids cling on me.
I love when mine do (most of the time, anyway, unless I'm busy) and I don't mind when my family's kids do. But I don't like strangers kids on me. Not even to sit on my lap. I'm not sure why, it just bothers me.
yay I agree that does not mean anything as far as how loving you are towards your own children. I work in a church nursery so I am used to kids climbing on me that I don't know. Heck sometimes I have to hold them when all they want is to be with mom
