Fooser has a point, I think. This is the new era of the Playboy under the mattress. As technology grows and kids have access to what they want, we'll see things like this happen. It's unfortunate, but it's reality. The parents have to be cognisant and limit what their children have access to. It's critical that parents understand the technology that is available and what kids can do to hurt themselves with that tech.

My 9yo son and 8yo daughter have cellphones with cameras and I see nothing wrong with it. Not all kids are like the ones from the video. Most kids are more mature.

Cell phones come in handy for kids. I would never get one for my elementary school children because it is just not needed. However, when my daughter went to middle school she got one and it was great on those days that she needed to stay late or practice was canceled, etc.

After that whole Zac Efron/Vanessa Hudgens scandal (her sending nude pics that got out), I immediately had a talk with my children that they should never take nude or partially nude photos of themselves because you never know who might get a hold of them. They were shocked to say the least!

these days, its really hard to find phones without cameras... and it seems like its getting easier and easier for kids to place themselves in situations like these..
