The only times I've heard about this kind of thing happening is with very heavy set women (ie 300lbs+).

I can't see how anyone wouldn't know either. Although I did go to high school with a girl that when we were junior's she had a baby over xmas break. She claimed she didn't know but she probably didn't weigh much over 100 lbs. To top it off her mom was over the OB at the hospital and didn't know that her daughter was pregnant.

I knew this girl (back in high school) who says she didn't know she was pregnant till about 8 1/2 months even though we all at school suspected it (she looked it) then she had the baby a few weeks after telling everyone, but we all didn't really want to ask her either even though we all knew (but how could we all have known and she not????) Ya I can't imagine not knowing your pregnant, there comes a point in pregnancy that it is simply obvious

Wow, that would suck to go to the hospital and just be in labor! Man, that would blow my mind!

*UPDATE* We saw my DH cousin at the store with her sister and mom and the new baby. The baby looked great healthy, alert. The sistuation was wierd so I tried not to make a thing about the baby. The excellent news is that the baby girl will be adopted by the uncle and his wife on thursday. They are out of state and SOOOOO excited!! It's the most bizarre blessing I seen in awhile.

I can see how it can happen. Denial + not knowing what pregnancy feels like + lack of symptoms + irregular periods to start with could lead to not realising it. Far fetched, but stranger things have happened.

I wasn't really big at seven months and I could totally see it if she were over weight. Boy what a shocker that would be! wow
