No worries Mo. Jtee was actually busted for creating 2 usernames too, one of which he used to harass people with. That's why it's ironic he tried to tell on you like a hall monitor in an elementary school.

I'm gonna create another account and get into a blistering argument with myself, I wonder who will win.

I don't understand why this issue is being discussed. I was looking for help and support and instead the focus has become that I posted under two different identifications.
I raised the issue after a mod pointed out the two different screen names. I'm not a mod, so don't blame poor Jtee. [Although all the accusations aimed at Jtee are kinda funny - sorry, Jtee, I'll try to stop laughing now .]

To me, the issue was not that you used two different screen names. I know people have done this for various reasons here. It was the fact that you answered your own post in that another identity and then failed to respond when Jtee revealed that the two identities were the same. As HappyMomma said, this forum seems to get a lot of fictitious posts, and your reply to yourself that you have a daughter just like...um, your daughter, I guess...seemed to be something like this.

As I said in my earlier post, I want to support folks on this forum but I found the situation confusing (and a little funny). If didn't mean anything troll-ish or sneaky, then I'm sorry for suggesting you were. But - at least in this thread - it wasn't a mod who raised the issue, so you are misplacing your anger if you blame the whole forum. Just blame me and send me a nasty PM.

Seriously no way that should be going down in your house. Ideally your man would be in on the matter and physically escort the bfriend out, but if that is just never going to be an option, then an alarm system could be very handy! As for your daughter and her insolence, you can remind her that the entire reason it came to this point in the first place is because both of them were disrespecting the ''my house, my rules'' thing. And as another poster said and I second, if she wants to have bfriend with her at nights, then she can get her own place and do exactly that.

At the end of the day, it is your home and you have to sometimes play the bad guy to protect your privacy and to demand the respect you deserve as her parents.

I can understand that she wants her bfriend over because I remember being 18 and thinking the same thing too. But there is a time and a place, and *f*ing off one's parents and disobeying their house rules is just not the time or place for it. If she feels so grown up that she should be allowed this piece of independence, then she can get her own place. Or she could at least start by demonstrating some maturity in the way she communicates with you and operates from within your house rules, and perhaps lobby for some change that way. Either way, her and the boyfriend are still behaving like petulant adolescents and are therefore not entitled to that sort of adult independence within your home.
