So far my bro is still on the right path. He's clean. He's working at my aunts church. He had hernia surgery. Its crazy what drugs do to you. He's a 27 year old OLD man. Part of me is still waiting for him to screw up. We(as a family) haven't let him talk to or see his son. He hasn't been apart of my nephews life in at least 3years. My nephew is turning 7 in Feb. | ||

My brother was also a heroin/meth/cocaine/alcoholic/name any drug addict. He is in jail right now for writing bad check and as sad as it is, it's the best place for him. I hope he stays clean. You are in my prayers. I have seen too many people die from addict and I am so happy to hear your brother is sober. One day at a time. | ||

My brother is turning 20 today and celebrating 1 1/2 years clean. I am very proud of him.

He deserves us being proud because that is hard to quit. I know we are lucky though and I will pray for the other familes who aren't.

*UPDATE* About three weeks ago my bro fell off the face of the earth.....again. I'm so sad for him that he made it all that time and the blew it. It's so agravating. I honestly felt in my heart in the beggining he wouldn't make it. I never told him that though. Damn it.
