Children: twin 15yo girls 3yo boy | Worried | | My daughter that we've been having some trouble with did not come home from HS today. He phone is here so I can't call her. I've tried to call a few of her friends in her list and no one knows where she is. I called the school and she was marked present for all but her study hall today.
The reason I'm worried is she and my husband got into it last night after she smarted off to me. She made a comment that she's going to take off. God I hope she is not pulling this!!
So, I guess I have to wait 24 hours before I call the police?
If you pray say a little prayer that she gets her butt home. I'm going to drive around a bit and see if I can find her anywhere. |

I would call the police anyway if I were you!
If she's okay, and just being a teenager...this is unacceptable! |

I would call the police. If they won't do anything for 24H, they will tell you this - no harm done by asking. |

Children: twin 15yo girls 3yo boy | Re: Worried | | Thanks for all the replies. She's home. I'm beyond annoyed, but glad she's here. Again, she went against my rules and went home with a friend (she's grounded and needs to be home everyday on the bus). She just does not give a crap and really walks all over us. It's so frustrating. I keep consistant with her.. but it's at the point where there is nothing else to take away. She can't go out, no phone, no cell phone, no computer.. so I guess she is at the point where she feels she has nothing left to lose.
When I was getting on to her instead of being sorry she thought it was 'cute' that I was worried. Ugh. |
