 | Re: would you ground your kid for this? | | I dont understand the whole "opps i forgot to grab my kid" thing. Boggles my mind... I could never never never do that..wow...there is a BIG difference between cellphone/ciggs and a kid... That child is a living human , that breath, talks, screams and bugs the crap outta you sometimes... how can you forget that? Unless you are that dense or are way to caught up in your life to not realize that you have a kid in the back of your car..WOW.. stop and smell the flowers....Sorry if I sound mean ( to put it nice) but I have no tolerance for excuses.

| Re: would you ground your kid for this? | | Well im sure that they would be able to notice a kid in the back seat whos talking and makin noises and such, if they didnt have their hippityhop music and bass boomin. theres yet another reason im sure that kids go unnoticed. it all comes down to respinsibility. which dont come easy without maturity

Children: 4 yr old boy and 2.5 yr old girl | Re: would you ground your kid for this? | | I remember the days when it was considered normal to leave the kids in the car for 3 minutes while you went in to the bakery to buy bread or something - imagine coming back from that to find your car smashed open and child services taking your kid away.
----
I dunno if I'd personally push for jail time if someone left their kid in the car to die - I can't see myself doing it, but I know that people can forget the simplest things sometimes. Have you never done anything totally stupid, then realised that someone could have died if a couple of things had gone wrong?
Contrast the poor idiot in the link above with another tragedy which befell a school principal.
A different law for rich people and poor people. |
