I'd be interested in folks' opinions on this: My niece is graduating from high school next week. She will attend college in the fall. My sister is throwing her a graduation party with from 100-175 people invited (numbers vary by family member
). My father, who has strong opinions about anything related to childrearing, is appalled. My sister, obviously, thinks it's a great thing to do. What do you think?

Anybody here use or have used cloth diapers recently? I know the newer ones are much easier to use than the old fashioned ones, with the velcro and all. I'd like to start off with them. Any brands better than others in terms of fit and comfort?

What would do if you discovered incontrovertible proof that your, 17 or 18 year old son or daughter, a senior in high school, was drinking, and you had caught them a few times earlier as well? Just wondering what some parent's thoughts were on this issue.

Been reading the forums here for a few weeks and decided to join. I have 2 daughters Taylor 9 and Steva 17. The wife and I have made mistakes with Steva that I don't want to make with Taylor. Steva is my step daughter so the wife and I have battled over raising issues with her. I have been raising Steva since 3 and I am the only dad she really knows, she calls me dad. Taylor is so easy going and never gives us problems.

My child brought up a valuable point about teachers. She always has lots of homework but the teachers don't grade it when it comes back. I am worndering how they would feel if they went to work and did not get those hour paid out on their pay check what would they do?
Do you think it is fair for our children to not get graded on all homework turned in?
