Hey, I know it may be a little bit late, but I'd love to comment.

I can totally understand your concern. No, I don't think it's too much for you to ask your son to call you every few hours! I am the exact same way. But I think when kids turn 18, they automatically think, 'Oh, I'm eighteen, I'm considered an adult now, I can do whatever I want.' I mean I think they go through a rebellious stage. My oldest Hunter certainly went through that.

One day, he'll realize that you just care about him and his safety. I bet he will apologize then. Well, good luck. He'll come around, I'm sure.
