DO NOT MAKE FOOD A FIGHT. YOU CAN NOT WIN.

Offer him what you are eating. If he doesn't eat it, fine. If he does, great. But don't try and make him eat, it will just be a power struggle. He will not starve himself. The less of a big deal you make it, the easier it will be.
