Default Re: Cloth diapers?

Overall, cloth diapers are seen as better for the environment. Some would argue that because of the resources used to keep them clean, but most seem to think that cloth is better environmentally. They are also cheaper overall.

The one time cloth seems clearly better is when it's time to toilet train your child. Some disposables are so aborbant that kids just don't feel the wetness. There's a theory that this is one reason why kids seem to train later...they just don't mind the disposables.

I used a diaper service. In this way I had the convenience of disposables while not worrying about the environmental impact. It also helped with cost. The diaper service cost more than just using cloth diapers, but less than disposables.
