Yeah, that's true Dadu. I just don't like to think of it that way I guess. I remember when we all got the stomach flu and we were over it in 2 or 3 days but Eli had it for almost 2 weeks and I freaked out on the doctor because I didn't understand why it wasn't gone yet and he explained it to me like this -

"Think about how much older you are than him, and how many times your immune system has had the chance to battle of the stomach flu over the years. This is only the first or second time his immune system has ever seen it, so it takes him much longer to fight it off and get rid of it. Where your immune system is used to it and experienced at it and can get rid of it in a couple days."

Not exact words, but basically the conversation to my memory. So yeah, I know, it just seems like overkill sometimes when Eli is sick SO OFTEN. You know? It's still so annoying that people don't care.
