Right, that's lovely and all, but you didn't answer a single one of the OP's questions other than to tell them not to bother.

I think its OBVIOUS that you can parent your child and teach them right from wrong and have them follow the rules of your house at the SAME time as teaching them the usual everyday things like how to cook and clean. Seriously, come on.
