Probably just timing. Had a rash of spammy troll type of post. your came in at the end of it. Just one of those things I think.

Also your kinda coming out of the chute "this is what parents should do" (not your words) Probably not your intent but like I said if you look at some of the post in the last few days it was a little "off putting" That said, Sorry for not giving you much of a chance.

Of course the points made in your OP were valid. The thing is (speaking for myself) a lot of the time my wife and I lack the displine to pull some of those things off.

While your OP may be considered by some (no doubt) to be "best practices" Real world demands allow my focus to be fragmented. I worry about a job, car, bills, food, things breaking, my daughters special needs ect. So I (not arguing your point) prefer not to think that I am less of a parent because I dont adhere to a strict structure.

And spammy means like an advertisement or with a promotional agenda.
