Its good that you found out the root cause of the problem. Many parents never figure out what the problem is, and just end up punishing their kids making the situation worse. It is important now that you build a strong relationship with your daughter and try to make her share all her days stories with you. This way you'll will get closer and you can advice her whenever you think something is amiss.
