Re: Some news!
Whoa Whoa whoa. Arent we rushing into things here. Lets slow everything down and take a look at this thing. Does he have any idea what he's getting into? Is he really prepared for all the sex and food that comes along with this responsability. We havent even met this young man. I think the men at PF need to sit across the couch and see if this fella meets our high level of standards. And you young lady. Your just a girl. I'm not sure you know what your doing. This isnt one of your "show's". Are you sure your not just doing this for pics of Eli in a tux? Have you ever worn a dress that wasnt a Catholic school girl costume?
JK
Congradulations. You didnt mention if you said yes? You had better let us know where your registering and where to send cards. I am very very happy for your whole family. They have a web service for weddings. Again very very happy for you guys.

Re: Some news!
Have you never heard of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue? I'm yet to meet a married couple who haven't done this!
When we got married our something old was my great grandma's tiara which my wife wore, something new was a necklace she wore, something borrowed was the veil and something blue were here flowers.

Re: Some news!
thats a tradition here as well. ECD we need to figure how that got started. thats a goofy one.
Here is the "Blue"
Why Something Blue? Brides of ancient Israel wore blue ribbons on the border of their wedding cloths to denote, love, modesty and fidelity. These are ideals still associated today with that color. Blue also denotes the purity of the Virgin Mary and is the most popular of all colors. Also see, "Why the Blue Satin Garter."
Here we go:
Old, New, Borrowed, Blue
The saying, "Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue” is a popular rhyme that has been used since Victorian times. The "something old" represents the bond to the bride's family and her old life; "something new" represents the couple's new life together and their future hope for happiness, prosperity and success; "something borrowed" from a happily married woman is meant to impart similar happiness to the bride; and "something blue" represents fidelity and constancy.
To slow ECD
