Body Odor
It seems to me that i began wearing deodorant around 12 to 13. Last year DS could take a shower in the winter on Sun, Tues, Thur, Sat nights. This year he is stinkin. It's a pet peeve of mine. I hate BO. So we stepped up the showers to every night but Friday.
The Question. Is 9 the age to start with deodorant??
It just seems strange that he gets smelling that bad, that fast.
What age did you or your kids begin using deodorant?

Re: Body Odor
hmmm, don't remember, I'm thinking it was sometime around 12 or so for me too...
maybe it's not him...if he has a shirt like yours it could be the shirt. Try burning it and getting him something stylish in green and gold....

Re: Body Odor
LOL I'm going to assume its a NFL joke? (is that even the right abbrev? haha)
he didn't shower every night? that could contribute... i have showered every night for my whole life.. sometimes morning and night if i feel like it but as for the deodorant issue... i started wearing deodorant in year 5 which would have made me about 10 or 11.. and that was because it was encouraged my the school that starting in year 5 students should carry roll on deodorant in there bags.. so i would say its pretty normal...

'zackly, it's the NFL....
My 8 yo only bathes about every other night unless it's hot out or he's been very active., but that time is probably coming to an end.

Re: Body Odor
Im like antoinette. I shower every single morning. Hayleigh gets a bath every night too. It's always been the norm for me. Im a tad bit of a freak when it comes to body odor. HUGE pet peve of mine. Same with a dirty/cluttered house. Im insane, you can say it. lol

Re: Body Odor
He needs to be showering every morning, otherwise he is going to be dirty all day. Get him a roll on deodorant, that way you'll know if it is BO or the lack of washing, sprays will just hide a smell for a small while.

Wow. You know that is the kind of response I would expect from dadu.
Yeah he is going to have a "roll" today. I just thought it seemed odd at his age.
I would be mortified if I had BO. Some people just walk around like that day after day. And I dont mean uneducated homeless types. Just Nasty.
