Cell phones + Children = Cancer, ADD, etc...

Hi Guys,

Cell phones are much more dangerous, long term, than most of us can imagine.

A friend of mine had severe health problems caused by his mobile phone radiation and had to do some drastic stuff to get it under control.

He wants to get the message out, but doesn't know whether there is any interest on this (this issue is like smoking was 50 years ago).

He is looking for parents to talk to to see if there is a way to help people see how dangerous this is.

You also shouldn't stand close to your microwave because you could get a brain tumor. Also, computers can cause you to grow a second head, bluetooth earpieces can make your ear explode, digital watches can give you a sixth finger, and your car can take you hostage.

You might also consider that if you walk under a ladder that you will have 7 years of bad luck, and if you drop the salt that you should throw some over your shoulder.

It's all a bunch of crap from people who are scared to embrace technology.

I do agree with Dadu2004 that you can't worry about something that may or may not be true. You just have to be smart and do what you feel is right for you and your family. I don't really believe that cell phones can cause tumours, but I do agree that people go overboard with cellphones these days, and cell phones are sort of a mixed blessing. On the one hand they are great to have in case of an emergency or when you are afraid of missing an important call. But to use them obsessively just for the hell of it, when they interrupt and rule your life, is not a good thing either. Little kids have no business owning a cell phone, IMHO, and teens should have liminations on how and when they are allowed to use them.

my name is Lloyd. Yes im giving my real name, just to be clear that Im not making all this up. I love gadgets, I love kids - Ive got 2 of my own, but I thought you should know you guys are dead wrong about cell phones being harmless. You are falling into the trap of "if science cant prove it, it cant exist". Science hasn't proved that cell phones cause cancer beyond a shadow of a doubt but thats only because we need long term studies, 10 years plus, and the studies that are coming out are rigged by the cell phone industry - money, money. The thing is I KNOW these things are bad for you, they make me ill. I became very ill with it 8 years ago, nearly lost my job, my health went up the spout, blood pressure, massive fatigue, weight loss, and I just couldn’t think straight when I got near to a cell phone in use. I could go on about this for hours….. What gets to me the most is people’s ignorance, and in the meantime, people are getting sick, tumors, cancer etc I would like to get my message out, its tough.

That's really a myth. You can't blame your health issues on your cell phone. And I know damn well your doctor didn't tell you your problems were due to your cell phone.

Wrong...I'm a person of faith and science can't prove the existance or denial of God. So, I don't buy that statement.

The fact is Lloyd while some people on this earth may be susceptible to the waves that are produced by phones and other technologies, the vast majority of people are not. Guess what... sweet and low kills some people, bees kill some people, and fumes from gasoline kills some people. But that doesn't mean we should rid ourselves of everything and become hermits living in a cave.
