I wanna rock!
So, when you first flexed your "I wanna rock" muscles and purchased music, what was it?
I'm not certain of the order, I bought 2 albums and a few 45s, so I'm not sure which came first, but the Albums were an eclectic mix...Best of the Carpenters, and BTO- Four Wheel Drive...on LP of course |

the first music that i can remember buying was Huey Lewis and The News. probably Sports.

Thankfully I have grown up a bunch since then. I used to have about 300 pictures of Kiss on my bedroom wall, now I can't even stand to listen to them.

The first 45 single I got was Paul Simon, Slip Slidin' Away. My mom bought it for me... 1977, so I was 7.
The first album I bought myself may have been Born in the USA on cassette, but I'm not sure. The first CD I bought was Marc Cohn's self-titled album from 1991. I bought it for Walking in Memphis. |

I can not remember back that far...I can barely remember my age most days LOL. The first records I can remember owning were AC/DC and Pink Floyd's Off The Wall (which my hubby bought me for x-mas last year) and those were given to me by my uncle.

 OMG I can't rememer, I did have the Huey Lewis in the News Tape, I use to listen to it outside when I was pre teen, then I moved on to other music.I was a major Rock chick  Kiss, AC DC, Poision,

I'm pretty sure mine was Undercover Angel, by Alan O-Day. It was a 45..... 1977. Yikes!
