Today my boy became a man if only for a second
The wife and I were talking in bed this morning and we could hear the kids moving around and after a couple of minutes my son walked in the room.
He said "Mom when are you going to make breakfast?"
Mom said "Why do I have to make breakfast? Why not Dad?"
Every man knows that this is a trap. Every married man has felt the cold breeze as your wife has tried to make you say something sexist. I recognized this right away and screamed through my telepathic connection to him "No boy it's a trap"
Then I saw this gleam in his eye and he smiled an said "Because mom, you are so much smarter than Dad and a way better cook."
I was so proud. Mom threw him a sexist curve ball and he hit it out of the park. I thought today he is a man much like the first time a Native American Boy kills his first Buffalo.
Anyway Vic just sorta glared at me as I smiled. 10 minutes later the boy was eating waffles.

Did it occur to you that he could have been stating the truth?

Next week we are going to learn the ancient art of fartriloquism. Or for those of you that aren't familiar this terminology it is where you break wind and transfer blame to the dog.
It's not easy but he is a fast learner and if you dont challenge a strong mind it will turn towards evil.

I didn't argue either fact. My wife can make toast like nobody's business as long as she can find the recipe and she knows the names of all seven dwarfs and has almost figured out how to work the remote that we got for Christmas unless she wants to watch a DVD, or VHS tape or if she wants to watch TV if she is currently watching a movie. But if nobody has touched the remote in a while and she just wants to watch HGTV she can usually make it happen.
She doesn't read this forum by the way
Nobody here can tell her except Steve and unless he wants some pictures that I took while he was supposed to be at work to be mailed to his parents and wife and also the FBI and Wildlife commission he will remain silent.

If he'd gotten that Buffalo, he wouldn't have had to have settled for Waffles this morning...
