Updates from Meow

Hey Everyone!!!

SO yes, its been a LONG time since i've been on here! I dont really know why....aside from you go on Facebook and thats basically it.......

But I just wanted to update everyone on this past years events.

Obviously Abby has been a fantastic baby over the past year. She had her first b-day on the 19th of june (her actual bday the 23rd) and LUke celebrated his 4th bday on the 27th of June (yea it was crazy...and not to mention semi danaging to the bank account). But luckily the grandparents wanted to help in any way possible.

Also in the recent events of engagement. DH and i have been together for 8 years now, and with 2 kids, it was Long coming! To be honst, i've been waiting for this since about hte 4 year mark. But such as life, nothing is predictable. And the kids came first, and DH going through his career adjustment (which btw, he did finally get his CA. So he is now offically a chartered accountant!). I am so proud of him that he followed through and despite not passing one of his exams a year ago, and being let go from a firm because of this, he managed to pull him self up, secure a job at a firm and pass! THere is LOTS of room for movement here, and he hopes to become partner in the next little while (if all goes to plan LOL)

Life has been good so far, i'm now working two part time jobs (nothing special, but its helping money wise). And what is really nice is that the people i work with are fantastic

Also, all or most of you know, I play the bagpipes. Our band has been comepting this year (the season is now over) and we have done REALLY well! WE comepted at 4 games, came in 1st, 2nd, 1st and 3rd! It was a really fun summer and season for the pipes. We also got into the Hamilton Spectator and had a full article done on the band (TheSpec - Och, another Muir's a pipin')

ALso, the annual Cacuts Festival in DUndas ON is happening this weekend. THe parade is tomorrow and the band is in as usual. Abbigail is also in the baby contest for the 12-14M range and we're trying to sweep it 2 years in a row HA!

Anyway, i guess thats about it
