Wow - prenatal learning?

I was just over at Amazon and stumbled across the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System. How interesting!

I don't know if there is any way it can be proven or disproven that a product like this would work - but I am a big believer in being able to influence cognitive development.

Does anyone know more about this product or subject?

Ugh the more I looked in to this, the more unsure about it I am.

I see some evidence that there are a few prenatal books out there thare are little more than "infomercials" for this product. If they're using that kind of guerilla marketing it certainly damages the product's credibility.

In the past I've given a lot of credence to Amazon's review system. More and more lately I'm seeing fake/paid reviews! I wonder how many of the outstanding reviews for this product are in fact from real customers.
