Question Prenatal Heart Monitor - doppler, etc.

My original intent for heading over to Amazon a bit ago before I got distracted was to do some research on a prenatal heart monitor.

We don't have any real reason to want one other than to enjoy being able to listen to the baby's heartbeat at home and as much as we want. Seems kinda neat. My wife mentioned being able to "pick one up at WalMart for $20" but after seeing the reviews at Amazon, it seems most people don't have success with the cheap versions.

I did run across one semi-affordable doppler version that has good reviews - the Hi Bebe BT-200 Fetal Doppler / Heart Rate Monitor.

A friend of mine said you can rent them too and he mentioned stumbling across heartbeatsathome.com just by Googling.

Any opinions or advice?

I wish I could remember the one we got. But it was years ago. I acutally go it of off ebay. I loved it. After two miscarriages it just gave me peace of mind. But I would have to say I have heard the cheap ones don't work all that well either and when it comes to finding the baby's heartbeat I sure wouldn't want one that doesn't work real well. I would say maybe check some reviews out on the internet.
