My son is a habitual tub pooper!
Help! He keeps pooping in the tub. Any suggestions? It's like the 5th time in a month.

Re: My son is a habitual tub pooper!
sorry I can't really offer a lot of advice other than to say my dd did the same thing when she was a toddler. I think the warm water relaxes them and they just go. It's no fun I know but if you boy is anything like dd he'll stop once he gains control

Re: My son is a habitual tub pooper!
I know I hated it. Right now I have a 6 month old son who, loves to pee in the tub. If his boy parts come out of the water at all we both get a shower...lol

Re: My son is a habitual tub pooper!
My daughter did this! Routinely! I hated it - such a hassle to clean up after.
I don't know how old your son is, but Hannah started doing this when she was about 1 or 1-1/2.
Keep track of diapers - is he pooping around the same time every day? If so, wait until after he goes, or change bath time completely (i.e. from evening to morning).
If not, see if you can shorten bath time. Also, does he get "the look"? Hannah always had that look on her face just before she pooped. If you notice "the look", just pull him out and hold him over the potty!

Great ideas! I bet he is pooping around the same time of day. I heard him making noises this time but it was too late. Maybe next time I'll catch the little stinker!
