Bad mom or Bad rap?

Here's a recent photo of Ms. Spears. Notice the haggard appearance. Seeing photos like this reminds me how happy I am to me. I could never handle all the paparrizzi and living under the microscope. From the reports I've read I do think she needs help in the parenting department. The first step would be rehab. What do you think?

I do think she needs some help but I also think that the media is making it out to be worse then it really is

personally I think it's said that she can't have a visit with her children w/o 100 people there trying to get a story...at a certain point I think it should be time to back off

Have you heard of any paparrizi laws? You would think after the Princess Diana tragedy there would be something. Here in Az you can get an order of harrassment on anyone.

The papparazzi is awful but so is driving with your baby on your lap and partying with no panties on until the wee hours while the kids are in your custody with God knows who watching them.

She reminds me of my stepsister. Way too young, way too immature. She wasn't ready for children, and the glare of the media spotlight, and her obvious rebellion are just too much. The kids are the ones who suffer, every time.

I wouldn't want anyone criticizing my job as a parent so I'm not going to say if she's a bad mom or a good mom. I definitely think she has many issues to deal with and I hope that she gets help very soon. I've been following her "story" for almost a year now. Everything just keeps getting worse for the poor woman. I'm empathetic because I had PPD so I kind of know what she's going through. It's no fun to go through. And I can't imagine being in the spotlight during it all.
