Default Daughter is acting out in bizarre ways

ok this might be kind of long but im not sure what to do i've never heard of a child doing these things. First off I live in Texas my daughter ( whom is 11 years old ) lives in virginia.they just moved to a new house and after about 2 weeks or so of living there the house at first we thought was broken into 3 times in a week, cops were called things were knocked off of shelves but just the top shelves, food was taking out of the freezer and dumped on the floor a stuffed animal had a pole rammed through its croth area the cat was locked in a file cabinet the underwear draws of her room her mothers room and her mothers female roommate were dumped to the floor. The 2nd "apparent" break-in more things were dumped on the floor. The 3rd day her mother came home to find her laying at the bottom of the steps with writing on her face saying "knife" and "kill" and "thanks for the kiss" she said someone was in the house and did that to her and all they did was kiss her. Well now it turns out she did all of that on her own she said she did it for attention which dosent make sense to me because they spend every second of every day together with each other. They go out to eat together, they go out on the weekends to do kareoke together ..they're always together ..what do I do? we can't get her to tell us why she would really do this, to go to these extremes just seems bizarre to me. Any suggestions? Also she's never ever been in a kind of trouble, she has a great relationship with me and her mother ..i've never once in my life yelled at her ..honestly I havent I treat her great. Im not sure why she would do this and I dont know what to do ..this is all to weird for me but I want to know what all this kind of stuff would mean. Just dosent make any sense to me, and she was brought to the hospital the day she said some guy was in the house and kissed her, they found no evidence of anything being done to her. Also one more thing she even gave a description of this person from the clothes to his hair color to eye color whom she now says never existed. Why would she do all these things? please help

Thanks

She really needs to be evaluated by a mental health professional, a crisis evaluation to see what level of intervention is necessary for her and the family. Acting out is one thing but violent behaviors and talking of being assaulted is more than a cry for attention. I would encourage you to facilitate this in any way you can. There are always crisis line numbers in the front of the phone book and you can call :
National Youth Crisis Hotline: 800-442-HOPE (4673)

also and they can make a referral. Good luck!

I agree with happy, she needs to be evaluated by someone who knows about children and crises. It definately seems like she needs some help. And stay positive!!
