Re: goodie bags
We normally get those little gift toys you find in the party section of the stores. We'll add notepads and pens/pencils and a few pieces of candy.

Re: goodie bags
we are having a pool party so I was thinking about like a granola bar, some crackers or something, somthing they can play with in the pool, and like some crayons since the kids table is going to be covered in white paper the kids can draw on...is that lame?

Re: goodie bags
If your kids are pokemon crazy a pack of those would give them a thrill.
You can get one of those bags of plastic dinosaurs/farm animals for a dollar or two and throw some in each bag.

Re: goodie bags
At bradley’s last party, his goodie bag consisted of blowie things (kids love them, I don’t know the name), this really cool transformer cube (which is what Amber suggested…the section of party stores that have fun junk for good bags). She also put in a game card that Bradley could play 4 or 5 games in the arcade.
But then what I thought was cool, was the parent had bought some small toys in the toy section, and put them in there. Like…she bought the $3 transformer pack of 2…and then put one in each.
Maybe you could buy the littlest pet shop packs of 2 animals, and then put one each in their bag. Then they get a “cool” toy that is cheap. Stickers is always good too….kids go nuts over sticker packs.

Re: goodie bags
I agree they love stickers, cars, bubbles (but parents don't) anything that makes noise and lollipops.
We never played with the party play-doh, not much you could do with one little piece of play-doh. Finger paints are cool!

Re: goodie bags
The dollar store usually has those balls that you play with in the pool. The ones that are covered in fabric that fill with water. Gummies or fruit rollups would be good b/c they're kind of water-resistant.

Re: goodie bags
Sha' had what I was going to suggest also. Bubbles seem to be a huge hit with kids.
On the same line...we went to a birthday party this weekend, and the kids got Silly Putty. So, my sister in law comes over last night, and her 6 year old son got it on my couch!!!! Grrrrrr.
