Teething Fevers?!
Okay. Now the doctors says that when a child is teething they will not get over a 101 or 102 fever. But I swear my oldest daughter runs 103-104 fevers every time she gets a new tooth. I can't tell you the endless times I have taken her to the doctor and they tell me nothing is wrong and of course by the time I get to the doctor the med kicks in a bit and the fever is a lot lower. What can cause her fevers to be so high??

Re: Teething Fevers?!
I wish I know but NIchole is the same way. It is not uncommon for her to run 103 while teething. Of course she still only has 8 teeth, no molars yet, but one bottom one is starting to come out... I think, everytime it starts to break the skin, it goes back down!! grrrr.......

Re: Teething Fevers?!
True!!! nichole at least has top teeth too. She pretty much eats everything. I was talking to a mom on another site and her 16 month old son just got his first tooth. Its all normal just not the average. I just wish the molars would come through since they cause her so much pain all the time, then they go back down and it all starts over

Re: Teething Fevers?!
My oldest was two before she got her "2 year" molars. Do they get two sets of molars? I thought she had all her teeth, but with this fever and no other symptoms of something being wrong and her complaining all week that her mouth hurts, I just figured she was getting another tooth.
