Fires are getting bad here.
Ya'll know I'm in Florida and we are having massive fires all over our state. My dh and his roomates are staying up all night to keep their property wet and spray their roof. Not sure what good that will do. It smells so bad when you walk outside it'll give you a headache. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers please.

MM - a few years back we had some devastating fires in my area ... many people took firefighting into their own hands ... cut down any trees close to the houses ... kept steady water on the roof etc etc ... worked for some ..

So far so good. They have been dropping water on houses over night and non stop working. Today the fires should be contained a good deal with the humidity. The west coast is pretty bad.

Ok this is funny. My son walks into my bathroom and says "I smell daddy" I said "honey, there are fires around the area and you are smelling the smoke"
I thought it was funny because my husband smokes in the house where he lives on the other coast so when he's here our bathroom smells like fire. LMAO |
