Almost hit a deer
Almost hit a deer on my own street a little while ago. Scared the heck out of me.

Re: Almost hit a deer
I'm glad you didn't, Trina. My sister's car was totaled by a deer, and a family friend was killed in a collision with a buck (it went through the windshield).

Re: Almost hit a deer
Weirdly, the same sister totaled another car by hitting a cow....She either has very good or very bad aim.

Re: Almost hit a deer
It's actually a cause of concern in rural Texas as well. During certain times of the year when I visit my grandparents I get the warning "Watch for deer!"

Re: Almost hit a deer
I know what you mean Trina, it has happen to me before. In my case I surprised the deer so badly coming around the turn, the deer lost his balance and fell down on the road, the only reason I didn't hit him was because I as driving under speed limit.

Re: Almost hit a deer
You seem like the type that would drive under the speed limit jtee. lol
I'm glad you are ok Trina that could have been bad. We only hit armadillo's, possums, squirrels and birds here.
