Happy Canada Day!
I'm taking my oldest down to the park for fireworks. It'll be his first time, I'm hoping he'll like it rather than be scared. He's pretty good with loud noises and loves pretty lights so (crossing fingers) he should be fine. And if not, we go home and still have a good time, maybe a fire in the back yard, let him stay up late as a treat.

Re: Happy Canada Day!
There are ketchup chips floating around in certain areas, but they're not prevalent down here. Beavertail? What the heck is that?

Re: Happy Canada Day!
Aaaahhh yes, elephant ears. We don't usually put chocolate on them here though, normally powdered sugar or cinnamon.

Re: Happy Canada Day!
I absolutely love elephant ears. I look forward to summertime at the fairs so I can buy 'em. I should learn to make 'em on my own.
I'm not fond of ketchup chips. We've got them in our grocery here. Kids like 'em, but they're not good to me.
Happy Canada Day to you Canadians!
