3rd Birthday Today
Today was my sons 3rd birthday. I got up early and made pancakes for him (his favorite food), he got to open his present and then I got to spend the next half hour putting it together. The joys of being a dad! This Saturday is the birthday party. We were able to book a local firehall and we are taking him and his friends down their for a tour and to go inside a fire truck it should be a blast.
I can't believe how fast the time has gone though, it seems as though just yesterday I was buckling him in to his car seat for his ride home from the hospital and today he is running around, talking and being mean to his sister. Some days being a parent are hard and you wonder how you'll make it through the day but days like today show you why it's all worth it.
