Take one picture of yourself, one of your SO, and submit them to the page. Give it a minute or so, it will combine the features and give you a picture of what your child
might look like. It's really a nifty piece of programming.
The one we played with over Thanksgiving with my family was makemebabies.com . There are others out there, but this one had a free feature and didn't require you to register.
I took my picture and my wife's and had it combine them to show us a little girl. Damned if it doesn't look like it could be our child. Pretty girl, if I do say so.
Of all the combinations we did, that one looked the most like it could be a real combination... and believe me, there were some horror stories.
We took my mom and dad to see if the baby looked like my brother and... well, if they had seen that picture before having kids they might have avoided having him. My brother and his fiancee: the girl was cute enough, the boy... again, they might consider not having kids if that's really a potential result.
From there we branched out. The picture of an 8 year old friend-of-the-family combined with my mom's apricot poodle (his request) produced a picture that looked not entirely unlike him with a slightly longer face and curly yellow hair. The one of my mom with my mom... well, the result didn't look anything like her at all, not as a child nor as an adult.
It was fun, and everyone got a laugh.
Now the inevitable questions: has anyone here used one of these? Do the results look anything like your real kids?
