I gotta share this one.

I'm prone to tricking my children into slumber (I know it's weak, and it takes a long time, but I usually cherish that time and I"m genuinely lazy)

So, I was laying with my 2 1/2 yo, I ask him questions and just talk about stuff to take his mind off the fact that what's really happening is he's going to bed. So I was running out of things so I started talking about tomorrow being garbage day, and how htey take away our trash and recycling, and I told him about how they make our drink and detergent bottles into park benches and playground equipment like slides etc...and he says to me "come on, dad" as if I'm pulling his leg.

I almost busted out laughing....

they're only young once, he's the last one, I'm gonna enjoy these things.

can't even think of things or stories to tell the coco at bedtime. emmy's out like a light while watching some toons. but coco? that kiddo just doesn't want to give it up.

That is way too cute. What a ham. Actually just tonight Eli was running around the house and apparently (it was silent) BF farted, but it wasn't noted or anything lol. Out of nowhere, Eli stops running right next to BF, gets this dirty look on his face, plugs his nose, and says clear as day "Eww, fart".I couldn't believe it!! It was a good laugh.

About 2 years ago I was doing this puzzle with Kaitlyn. It was one where you have to put the shapes into a shape of a house (does that make sense?). Kaitlyn didnt know where one of the pieces went and I said "Maybe the diamond shape goes at the top" she says "Dad....it's a rhombus".

I'm like.....oh, then I went online to look it up to see if it really was a rhombus...and I spelt it "rombus". Insult to my intelligence right there.
