It never seems to end
Now her new trick is to pee on her floor. She does it when we arent around so we havnt caught her in the act. We are pretty sure that is what is happening though. Unless she has a glass of liquid that smells like pee that she pours on the floor.
I dont expect any advise on how to fix her. But any advise to rid the house of the smell would be great. When I remodled the house I put cheap carpet in the kids room knowing it would need to be replaced in a couple of years anyway. No point in that until I can get her to stop her sneak peeing. As you might expect it makes the whole house smell bad.
Thanks
Bryan

If you're willing to drop the money, you could put in wood or laminate flooring.

Re: It never seems to end
Buy some detergent in your local petshop for removing dog/cat urine, we use it at school, works a treat.

Hey, it just dawned on me. You were trying to get a urin sample, right? Perhaps you could just cut up the carpet and send in a chunk?

Wow. You have an excellent memory. lol Does anybody else remember that I work at PetSmart???? ha! I just had to giggle over that for a second.
What you want is called Nature's Miracle. I would get the Advanced version, the one for dogs. Its expensive as eff though. If you do get it, you have to LITERALLY soak your carpet down to the bottom, and the entire area that you think it is in. So buy the biggest bottle, maybe a couple of them (which will be really expensive). And then you just let it dry on its own, don't wipe it up or anything. It kind of stinks at first, but it goes away. It totally works though. Don't buy anything else, all the other stuff MIGHT work, but I wouldn't count on it.
Let me know if I can help any further. I hope you can get her to drop the habbit haha. That's not fun.
