With all the funeral stuff. Ds has pretty much been left to his own devices. "out of site out of mind"

I am beginning to think he would forsake food and water while playing Xbox 360 live. The weather out side is crappy so not a lot for him to do anyway. But when he does come upstairs he is running literally to the bathroom because he waited to long. If we let him he would eat standing at the kitchen counter or not at all to get back to the game. I think if we give him enough time he would be a dried up stick of a boy unable to move because his muscles atrophied and shrunk, poopin in his popcorn bowl, chewin on his own lips. The really sad part of this story is thats not whats making me mad. Whats making me mad is he wont let me play.

LOL yes I think it is possible! That's funny, I bet he's lovin that up like crazy. I remember doing that as a kid with my Sega and Playstation. haha. The joys of being obsessed with stuff. xD

Not to sound rude, but I'm just curious have you ever played on X-Box live? lol I don't know if X-Box live is for the ears of a 9 year old, but of course that's just my opinion. Steve and I play on XBL at night after Eli goes to bed, mainly because we can't play with the volume on during the day due to the insanely awful profanities that come out of people on XBL. The custom on there is to call people names and tell them to go f**k themselves to get them riled up so they wont do as well so that you can win. I mean, its really profane on there. We don't even use microphones anymore because we can't stand being a part of the disgusting/derogatory conversations on there. People are very mean and every other word is something nasty and R Rated. There is no moderating system on XBL, its so bad. I've had everything from being told off to being threatened with rape lol. o___o Countless times I've heard boys your son's age and YOUNGER get on there and F**K this and F**K that and NI***R this and A**hole that. ha.... :/ And I'm always wondering... where are their parents... lol

But if you already know what goes on with XBL and you don't mind it, then ignore me. OR what games does he play? I guess there are probably some exceptions to all that.

Actually I do enjoy a bit of profanity now and again. The thing is todays youth is so bad at cussing its just embarassing. I want to play live. But DS is like "go to your room dad" meaning my smoking/computer room. I keep telling him I'm going to let all his freinds know how much he loves me when he's in school. looks like I'm off work for at least 6 mo. I'm gonna pratice till I can whip his butt again.

What make me mad is the teen/ adults and family setting cussing. its limited but still they know they are on family setting. DS tells them to stop because he's afraid I'm gonna take it away. Makes me proud to hear "you guys better quit talking like that" But of course they jump on him after that. When I make my gamer tag I'll let you know what it is. We play Halo and just got MW2

The cussing in online play drives me nuts. Fortunately, I can mute individual people, so that usually helps keep it down. I'm a big MW2 guy on 360...good times!

Yeah, on PS3 online there is a lot of swearing, the mute player doesn't work on ours for some reason, so we just have to mute the whole tv if there are children around.

We are supposed to get our 360 today, it was supposed to be saturday cause x-box overnighted it, it was there saturday but they didn't bring it..

Cole is dying to play his MW2, he kept asking if I got it for him for x-mas and I kept telling him no....but santa had . anyways when he figured I hadn't got it he started asking for loans from his older siblings to buy it, they knew I got it so they said that if he didn't get it they would loan him the money. Only thing I am worried about is that it won't play, when he tried on the last system (the one that worked for an hour) it wouldn't play it, it would play the other ones though, x-box did say it could have been because of the box.

Where am I going with my threadjack?

Cole will be just like your Cole tonight, getting him to school tomorrow is not going to be fun! And forget sharing with anybody else, they all know that for the first week they will not get thier turns, unless he wants to play multiplayer. We can't get LIVE we still use dial-up.

LOL we certainly don't have the cleanest mouths either. Really if we ever got around to buying new headsets we might consider getting back on and goofing off, but since ours broke we haven't bought new ones mainly because people on there frustrate us and make us play badly so we didn't bother. If I had more friends to talk to though, it might push me into buying a new one lol. We just can't enjoy profanity too much around the house because our 2 year old will repeat us happily!! That's good your DS knows how to handle it, sounds like he does a good job. I feel bad for him too, because the first people to get picked on are girls and little kids. Like the others said, there is a mute feature on there. Does he know how to use it? Its pretty easy, but you wouldn't know it was there unless someone told you about it.

Yeah you should make a gamer tag and then tell me, I'll play Halo 3 with you!! BF plays MW2 I haven't tried it yet but I might get there. I love Halo though.
