    Oh no it's the potty...

Best advice I can give is to stay consistent. If she has an accident don't right away put her back in training pants or diapers. All that's going to do is confuse her and actually prolong the potty training process. When you decide it's time to put her in big girl pants, DON'T EVER LOOK BACK...

    toddler activities...

My youngest son turned 4 last month and we have been having some rain and we have been having some airsoft fun with paper targets and empty soda cans. When the first start of rain happened both my sons asked to play in the rain because it was warm. Obviously I said okay. Kinda wish I didn't...

    Your opinion?...

The only problem with video games is when lazy parents allow video games to become the kid's parents. My kids watch me play violent video games and they have also gave them a shot as well. They know it's all fake and not to emulate it in real life.

    Temper Tantrums...

Only advice I can give is never give into her! I am sensing a power struggle here. You have obviously given into her tantrums in the past or else she wouldn't continue to use them to win battles against you. Remember as a parent you HAVE to be a parent first and friend second.

Elementary school=9:00PM Jr. High=10:00PM High School=None ^ Those are the bedtimes I grew up with and my kids will as well.

    Kids and wearing shorts...

Oh man that takes me back to my teen years which wasn't all that long ago. I'd wear shorts no matter how cold it was outside and even if I was cold, I'd just wear a sweatshirt, but keep the shorts on still. Guess I just used to love showing off my legs. :D

having friends over on school nights...

No problem whatsoever here. As long as homework is done and bedtimes are obeyed and school is attended, what's the issue? Obviously it's a no-no if the kids are just gonna stay up all night playing video games, but if them and the adults caring for them are diligent enough to keep them on...

    Potty Panic!...

Sorry for the lengthy delay in my update here, but to be honest I forgot that I made this thread here. Anyways, not only did I do the idea of taking the toilet apart when I changed the wax seal, but my boy and I sat and watched a show on TV where they explained how toilets are made and how...

Need advice: Nightmare on My Street...

This is gonna sound really harsh, but it recently happened with my oldest son Andy who's only 7 and a kid on our block named Connor who's 9. My son was finally fed up with Connor's constant bullying anytime he would play outside and they both go to the same elementary school and obviously the...

    Potty Panic!...

That's a really good idea! I do need to replace the wax seal soon, so that will be a good excuse to take the toilet apart and show him that it's not gonna hurt him.

Did you suffered any challenge while raising Your Kids?...

I'd have to say my biggest challenge raising my kids was the fact that my first son was born when I was only 16. Being a young parent did take it's toll on me.

    Potty Panic!...

So long story short, my youngest son who's almost 3 years old has been having problems in the potty training department. Wife and I just found out what the problem is. While our son was at his Grandma's house, the toilet overflowed and it freaked him out and now he refuses to use the bathroom...

    Banning packed lunches -- seriously?...

Is it because of students having metal utensils such as knives and forks to eat their food with? We had some incidents here in the US where some young kids brought knives to school with their lunches and were expelled over it.

    Giving Children Alcohol - seriously?...

Underage drinking is something I feel I have way too much experience with. I can't speak for other's here but rather only share my own personal experiences with it. First off, technically every single kid has had alcohol in their body. Whether is be from the vanilla extract from raw cookie...
