    Right or Left...

Gavin, I bought him Lefty scissors in preschool, but he still preferred to cut right handed. I didn't push him either way, but encouraged him to use whatever hand was more comfortable. He started guitar lessons this year and decided he prefers a Lefty guitar. Ok, whatever. :)

    Right or Left...

We're all Righties, except for DS, who is a Leftie. He's the one with a knack for drawing. Go figure. Funny though, he uses scissors with his right hand.

Not everyone drives an SUV.....please help...

The laws of man may differ by country, but the laws of physics don't. :) That said, in the US it's not legal to remove/deactivate air bags, unless in extreme cases and even then, a strict approval process is required.

Not everyone drives an SUV.....please help...

In the USA they are called "car seat beds" and are only used for tiny, premature and/or special needs infants. NEVER put a rear facing car seat in the front seat of a vehicle. If the air bag goes off = severe, if not fatal, injuries. Generally speaking, no child car seat should be...

Not everyone drives an SUV.....please help...

Hi, centrix, I'm away from home and don't have time for a long post, but please go to www.SeatCheck.org to find a CPS Tech in your area. I have lots of links to helpful info, but am not on my home desktop. I'll check back when I get home and post a longer reply with info, etc. Thanks for...

    PLEASE Help is this common?...

I had similar issues with my kids when they were younger. I was so worried about it and really pushed food, but that only turned it into a power struggle and made the problem worse. Once I backed off and took a more relaxed approach they began to eat much better. I served healthy meals and...

advice needed to handle a spoiled and attention seeker baby...

<r>Sounds like typical toddler behavior to me. My son was a head banger at that age. It's fairly common and your son isn't "spoiled". He could be hungry, tired, frustrated or in pain (teething, ear infection). A good article below from Parent Center dot com.<br/> <br/&gt...

just found out my daughter's pregnant...

Jessica, when I was a teen my parents made it clear they would "disown" me if I became pregnant out of wedlock. That statement hurt me to my very core. A parent's love is supposed to be unconditional. I didn't dwell on it, but at that point knew Mom & Dad were not the people to go to in...

WHO is this child and what has she done with my daughter?!...

That was my first question... What is she buttering us up for? However, I can usually tell if that's the case as those bouts are short lived and soon become obvious. Don't get me wrong, she's still a typical teen, but I've noticed a change since she started her period last year. More aware of...

Enjoying this while I can! DD (13) is usually high maintenance and quite the DQ (drama queen), but for the past few months has been polite, friendly, loving and helpful. Not sure what to think. Hormones, maturity, change in friends? NOT complaining, for sure!
