Sorry, Lenn, I can't help you, but I'll ask around if nobody else has any suggestions.

You can try asking photo studios if they offer editing services. If not they may know someone who credible. You just need to watch out for those that might copy any footage to use for their own personal gain without your consent.
There's also tutorials all over the web so you can learn to do it yourself. You can try youtube. There must be a tutorial for movie maker programs or whatever program you have on your computer. You could also ask amongst friends and family if they know anyone. Or you may be surprised and know someone yourself who can do video editing.

I record videos on my iPhone and would like to be able to edit the file right away. This is real? Or can I only do this on a MacBook?

I have used this program https://www.movavi.com/mac-video-editor/ for video editing several times and was pleased with the result. I was able to crop the video, add an audio track to this media file, and use some of the available effects in this editor. I think that if you want to find a program that works well with MAC OS, then this Movavi product will be the best solution for you, since it doesn't require a lot of skills and knowledge to use it.
