    Ugh! I am so disappointed...

Thanks, I have made a list of objectives, issues at the school and issues at home. I plan to go with an open mind and honestly not blame but try to move forward. I really do have issues with schools because they let me down so badly as a kid. Really, I had one or two good teachers, but the...

    Ugh! I am so disappointed...

"Wow, umm, you really dont want to be here do you..." LOL.. your thread was direct and to the point and I appreciate it. I know that I am overreacting and I do have issues with teachers, so I am probably putting this one in the pit with the rest. The bad grades are across the board. There is...

We don't celebrate that either, because we are not christians, but we do celebrate by getting a Spring Basket full of goodies. We kind of poke fun at the Easter Aspect!

    Ugh! I am so disappointed...

THanks! I appreciate that. I don't think all of the problem is with my kid! I think some of it comes from complacent lazy teachers. I for one, think that teachers are overpaid and over rated! They whine and cry and complain and piss and moan and pretty much babysit at this school. I am...

What age should a child be home alone...

I would never leave a child under the age of 11 or 12 alone for any amount of time. I just wouldn't and 6 or 7 is a very dangerous age to be left alone at all. Just me.

    Disciplining Other Parents' Children...

Yes, you have a right to correct behavior in your home. If it is unacceptable, you have every right. Maybe the kids doesn't get boundaries at his own home and will learn from your home.

Do you let your kids on Facebook?...

I let my tween until I saw what the other girls were doing to her. They were taking her picture and making her look ugly with apps. I took it down. I took mine down too. Facebook is aweful. I hope she doesn't make another one!

13 Year Old Torturing His Brother...

I don't know if it will. I only have one kid, so I am not speaking from a parent point of view. But I do have 8 brothers and sisters and torture seemed to be the norm. We were not the Waltons,we were the Waltons on Acid. It was insane and nobody was nice to anybody. As an adult of that, I...

    Only children...

My Daughter is an only and I don't think she tattles but she has a sense of security with me and tells me an awful lot of stuff from school. I also noticed that I had to teach her not to tattle too much when she was in elementary school, she tended to do that. They (onlys) don't learn its...
