i do believe she's teething. but the days that i don't leave her side very much she has no sore or horse throat. and i DO NOT smoke inside!! that'd be like asking my baby to smoke. i'd never do that. lol. but anyways, if i don't leave her, she's not hoarse, if i leave her, she is. and i guess...

she's not taking any medicine currently. other than the smoking which i'm not ruling out, i can't think of any other possible reason for her hoarse throat except her amount of crying during the day. she's got horrible seperation anxiety!

if that's what is causing her throat issues (and that's all of the issues) then i'd definately quit. my daughter is by far more important than my smoking. but i plan to try other things first before going on the long journey of quitting smoking.

i never thought about the smoking thing...i guess i'll switch to the AR formula again and see how that does with her and try to figure out a way for her not to smell the smoke on me. thanks guys!

my quirk is that things MUST not be cluttered. there are places for EVERYTHING and if you can't find a place for it, then you don't need it ;)

she did use to have that, then my husband and i put her on enfamil AR for her GERD and her symptoms dissapeared as she got older and we switched back to a less expensive kind. but she only cries when i leave her, so i don't think GERD is to blame. it's just like she cries so much her throat...

well, the reason i have to leave her sometimes is that i smoke. and obviously i can't take her with me. when im doing housework/cleaning i'll put her in her walker...but even when i leave really quick to get a diaper, use the bathroom, take a shower, things like that by the end of the day she's...

my seven month old has a sore and scratchy throat from crying/screaming so much! :arghh: she cries every time i leave the room, but sometimes i have to let her scream because i've got things to do!! from screaming and crying i notice her voice is very scratchy. am i letting her cry too much...

my advice is to sit there with her and her dad. don't pick her up, though. just sit with her until she feels comfortable. NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES! if after a while she isn't settling in to bond, play with her whille daddy's holding her. in time, the uneasyness will pass.
