We use one and love it, my house is very open and I love being able to hear my son but want to block the noise of my dh and I in the evenings. Also it is all part of the routine for us, it signals that it is sleep time. I was not a magic pill though, my ds still wakes up 1-2 times a night.

Mine loves to too! I think it's developmental stage.

There isn't much just cause I got most of that out in my 20s. I don't want my son to know about 1996-2003 though :laugh:

All kids are different but most really do well with a predictable routine, and I really think that the more I stick with it day to day the more is is able to go off routine for special occasions. So I just do the same things in the same order- lunch, outside , bath, nurse in bed, nap... Things...

Coming in late but I find the best way is to smile nod and do what you are going to do. So often people are trying to justify their own issues through criticizing YOU. You know what's best , so I say next time she pipes up smile and ask her to pass the bean dip :)

I always find that if my son is fighting a nap I have missed the window and I need to move it earlier the next day. Also having a routine has helped us immensely!
