Aw man, so far this change has been rougher on me than my 2yo son. He has only visited his new daycare, but will be there for a full day on Monday.
He has been with the same babysitter since he was 3 months old and she has been awesome. She would take care of him and her 4yo granddaughter, but because we are moving and working about 15 miles away, we just cant find a not so inconvenient way to continue.
So we enrolled him in daycare.
The last day (Friday) was rough. She made it as easy as possible by saying bye quickly, but she practically ran inside her house in order to avoid being sad. My wife cried. Two days later, I'm feeling it hard. For her and my boy.
We will still use her during vacations and emergencies on weekends and such, but its most likely just during vacations.
