When I was that age, the rule was that I could decide for myself at what time I went to bed, but I had to get up at 7, so if I decided to stay up late, I still had to get up at 7 and was tired the next day. That way I learned soon enough that going to bed at a decent hour was important.cybele said:Personally, by that age I expect them to self-regulate their bedtimes.
