With the start of classes we also return to more structured routines that leave little time in the morning. To facilitate these dynamics, two Quito stylists shared their knowledge of infant hair care: Andrea Moncayo, owner of Cool Cuts Peluquería, and Gabriela Rocha, who runs a hairdresser under her name. Moncayo advises cutting the ends before the new year. During the summer, the hair is exposed to sun, wind, dust and dirt that results from games. By removing the dry ends with the cut, detangling won't be a hassle. The short hair can be washed every day, however, not the same is recommended for long hair, because the natural moisture needed by the hair is removed. Another tip from Moncayo regarding the bathroom is to do it in the afternoon or at least two hours before bedtime, so that drying is natural. Using heat tools, such as the dryer, is contraindicated, because it causes diy hair growth oil more dryness than in adults
The shampoo and other cosmetic products used for children must be children's lines, not generic, since the little ones cannot receive the same chemical load as the adults. Rocha says that most children's lines have products for each type of hair, such as chamomile for light hair. To untangle, Rocha indicates that coconut oil can be used. Apply a few drops in the palm of the hand and then put them on the hair of the little ones, from root to tip, it will facilitate the process. Coconut oil will also hydrate and nourish the mane. Another alternative to detangling is to make a sprayer with 250 ml of water and 2 tablespoons ofapple cider vinegar. There is no need to worry about the vinegar smell, as it evaporates, but also, you can add drops of an oil with the aroma of your choice to the sprayer.
Vinegar balances the scalp, seals the cuticle, adds shine, and controls oil. This natural ingredient is one of the favorites of hair specialists, as it is a remedy for dandruff, it prevents lice, among others. At the time of styling, Moncayo prefers to avoid products such as styling gel or cream. The gel is usually used to stylize children's hair, however, due to its high alcohol content, it dehydrates and dries the hair strand. Also, it causes flaking as a result of dry scalp. To fix the hairstyle you can use waxes or hair pastes, which are lighter and, depending on the brand, include nutrients and other benefits.
