Our 18 year old son left home a couple of weeks ago for college, which is over 200 miles away. I was trying to prepare myself for a few months but found it overwhelming when the time came. His Dad and I live apart, although thankfully have remained very good friends.
Is anyone else going through this or have been through it in the past, and what was your experience? I find the house very quiet now, as I live alone. I am not worried about not having a life, as I've plans for the future, but for now don't want to start anything new....
