I'm trying to put photos in a post in the 'bragging' section, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Here's the url for one of the photos...

http://carolinelightowlersphotos.shutterfly.com/pictures/54[/url]

I clicked on the image button, then put in the url, but couldn't get it to show. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong, please?

First of all, that's really cute lol. Second of all, there are two ways to insert a photo. You can go advanced and press the little picture icon and just enter the URL in the box for that. Or you can do it manually by using like, photobucket or what have you to get the format that starts and ends with <IMG src="">
.

I just tried to do that here though, and it doesn't work. I will try in the bragging section. That is strange. They must have photos disabled in certain areas.

Thanks. I think it may be the site I was using that was the problem. Not sure. It did work when I put them in Photobucket, but now they're huge. I've tried re-sizing them in Photobucket, then re-posting, but they're still huge. Any suggestions, please?

For some reason that always happens to me as well. First there's the easy way: when you go to upload a photo, go to the little link in the right hand corner area that says "customize your upload options" and choose a reasonable size for the pictures to be automatically uploaded to. Then there's the secondary way, if you want to resize them after the fact of uploading them: go to edit them manually, using the edit program, make them the size you like, then when you go to save it choose to save a seperate copy rather than replacing the original. For some reason every time I try to replace the original, it remains the same. Or at least, takes forever to change. I bet if you tried them today they would be the right size. It's a pain in the butt, I know. Sorry for not replying sooner, I had a busy couple of days. :)

It might be shutterfly. Try using photobucket or even Flickr, both are great photo sharing sites.

The picture is adorable though!
