My name is Adam , I am a 41 year old step father. My wife had a 1 year old son when we met and we have been together for 6 years. We now have a daughter together, she is 3.

Being a stepparent to a very young child gives you no barriers in forming a deep bond. He will see you as just part of the family throughout his life. The only advice I can give is to be as involved in his life as much as possible, while being respectful of his biological dads time with his son.
